Episode 1 - The corporate Elevator

This will prove interesting reading i hope.

one month into my internship at Motorola,Bangalore,I have realized that one of the most uncomfortable places to be in a MNC is the elevator.

As i stand in the lift lobby waiting for any one of the elevator doors to open and accept me into its capacious and roomy insides, three other people join the fray. These three look to have atleast three-four years of experience each.They stand there facing in different directions, not as much as acknowledging each other's prescence . I am baught back from my observations by the gentle gong of the elevator telling us that it has arrived. there is a sudden spritely movement from all three of my to-be "lift mates" as they gather their things before boarding the lift.

The doors open and unsurprisingly, their are already around ten people occupying the now not-so-capacious interior of the gloomily lit elevator. As i try to wade my way in to the lift, people's feet become unsuspecting victims of a stampede by my feet(not a comfortable feeling, i assure u). The other three people on my floor somehow get into the already crowded elevator.(must be a new world record for most number of ppl in a lift)
